Preparing an Analysis
All CALEA Programs require the completion of various analyses to provide the agency’s chief executive officer and management staff with critical time-sensitive information that may be used to facilitate administrative and operational decisions. This course will provide a review of the research and development process, culminating with the publishing of a professional analysis report. In addition, this course will include a facilitated discussion with practitioners to describe their experiences relative to this topic.
Activities Required Standards
Each of CALEA's four accreditation programs include several standards requiring the agency to conduct time sensitive activities. Compliance with these standards is critical to the agency's success, not only as it relates to the assessment process, but more importantly, overall agency operations. This session will review various “activity required standards” (aka time sensitive standards), including those requiring administrative reviews and analyses, and provide guidance for managing compliance.
Preparing for Site-Based Assessments
This class will provide you with the needed information surrounding quadrennial and initial site-based assessments of your agency. It will cover agency requirements and Assessment Team roles. The class is for Accreditation Managers, Accreditation Staff, as well as agency CEOs.
Preparing for Web-Based Assessments
This class will provide you with the needed information surrounding yearly remote web-based assessments of your agency. It will cover agency requirements and Compliance Service Member roles. The class is for Accreditation Managers, Accreditation Staff, as well as agency CEOs.
Additional sessions will be offered by guest instructors. These session titles have not been finalized.
