The CALEA PRESIDENT’S AWARD was developed to recognize select individuals and/or organizations for their continuing support of CALEA Accreditation as a professional institution in the field of public safety. The award ALSO recognizes the significant contributions to the advancement of accreditation across the public safety profession.
On November 15, 2025 during the Jacksonville, FL CALEA Conference Celebration Banquet, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office received the CALEA President's Award. The agency has hosted six conferences for CALEA, and two of the conferences were hosted within twelve months. The time and resources to serve as a host agency is tremendous and requires engagement from leaders and practitioners across the organization. The agency's support and level of professionalism has been an intricate part of the success of CALEA Conferences. CALEA could not be prouder to recognize this professional organization with the CALEA President's Award.
