
CALEA TRI-ARC Awarded Agencies
The CALEA TRI-ARC Award was created to recognize entities that concurrently hold all three CALEA Accreditation Awards: Law Enforcement, Public Safety Communications, and Public Safety Training Academy. The award name was selected to reflect the three accreditation programs (“TRI”) and symbolize the synergistic power and light created as the result of an unusual achievement (“ARC”). A handsome cherry wood obelisk statute was created to represent the award.
The Lafourche Parish (LA) Sheriff's Office is led by Sheriff Craig Webre. The law enforcement, communications, and training academy accreditation manager is Lesley Hill. This agency received law enforcement accreditation in December 2000, communications and training academy accreditation in July 2020.
The Winston-Salem Police Department is led by Chief Catrina Thompson. The law enforcement, communications, and training academy accreditation manager is September Tuttle. This agency received law enforcement accreditation in November 1997, communications and training academy accreditation in July 2020.
The Miami Police Department is led by Chief Jorge Colina. The law enforcement, communications, and training academy accreditation manager is Sgt. Anthony Martinez. This agency received law enforcement accreditation in March 2003, communications and training academy accreditation in November 2019.
The Secretaria de Seguridad Publica Tamaulipas is led by Secretario Augusto Cruz Morales the law enforcement accreditation manager is Dr. Ghaleb Krame Hilal. The Centro de Comando, Control, Communicaciones y Computo de Tamaulipas is led by Director Silvia Pecina Torres and the accreditation manager is Chief Barac Reyes Guerrero. The Universidad de Seguridad y Justicia de Tamaulipas is led by Director Jesus Lara Mata, and the accreditation manager is Ms. Yesenia Sanchez Loredo. This agency received law enforcement, communications, and training academy accreditation in November 2019.
The Secretaria de Seguridad Ciudadana del Estado de Queretaro is led by Secretario Juan Marcos Granados Torres. The law enforcement accreditation manager is Jose Daniel Silva, the communications manager is Laura Delfina Corona Hernandez and training academy accreditation manager is Sheila Maritza Velazquez Hernandez. This agency received law enforcement and communications accreditation in November 2018 and received training academy accreditation at the Huntsville Conference in May 2019.
The Policia Estatal de Seguridad Publica Del Estado De Sonora is led by Director Ramon Mancilla Macedo. The law enforcement accreditation manager is Bertha Nidia Valenzuela Leon. The communications center is led by Secretario Jose Anaya Cooley and the accreditation manager is Julio Willis Garcia. The training academy is led by Director Juan Arias Soto and the accreditation manager is Fabian Galindo Cota. This agency received law enforcement in March 2018, training academy accreditation in November 2018 and received communications accreditation at the Huntsville Conference in May 2019.
The Secretaria de Seguridad Publica de Leon is led by Secretario Luis Enrique Ramirez Saldana. The law enforcement, communications and training academy accreditation manager is Leilani Tortolero Garcia. This agency has been law enforcement accredited since November 2017 and received communications and training academy accreditation at the Grand Rapids Conference in July 2018.
The Colorado State Patrol is led by Colonel Matthey Packard. The law enforcement, communications and training academy accreditation manager is Ian Whittington. This agency has been law enforcement accredited since March 2015 and received communications and training academy accreditation at the Frisco Conference in March 2018.
The Secretaria de Seguridad Publica del Estado de Guanajuato is led by Secretario Alvar Cabeza de Vaca Appendini. The Law Enforcement and Training Academy Accreditation Manager is Roberto Centeno Torres, the Communications Manager is Manuel de Jesus Villarreal Romero. This agency has been law enforcement accredited since July 2016 and received communications and training academy accredited at the Jacksonville, FL Conference in November 2017.

This agency has been law enforcement accredited since April, 1987 and received training academy and communications accreditation at the Mobile, AL Conference in March 2017.
The Monmouth County Sheriff's Office is led by Sheriff Shaun Golden, the Law Enforcement Accrediation Manager is Denise Palmisano, the Communications Manager is Scott Nelson, and the Training Academy Manager is Daniel McKenna. This agency has been law enforcement accredited since August 1998; communications accredited since July 2001; and received training academy accreditation at the North Charleston, SC Conference.
The Alameda County Sheriff’s Office is led by Sheriff Gregory Ahern, the Law Enforcement and Communications Manager is Lieutenant Darren Skoldqvist; and the Training Academy Manager is Lieutenant Tara Russell. This agency has been law enforcement accredited since August1996; training academy accredited since July 2006; and received communications accreditation at the Albuquerque Conference.
The California Highway Patrol is led by Commissioner Joseph Farrow; the Law Enforcement, Training Academy, and Communications Accreditation Manager is Sergeant David Dashiell. This agency has been law enforcement accredited since November 2010; training academy accredited since November 2013; and received communications accreditation at the Albuquerque Conference.
The Maryland State Police is led by Colonel Marcus Brown; the Law Enforcement, Training Academy, and Communications Accreditation Manager is Captain Douglas Baralo. This agency has been training academy accredited since March 2014; communications accredited since March 2014; and received law enforcement accreditation at the Albuquerque Conference.
