Programas

Principal programa de CALEA es Aplicación de la Ley de Acreditación. La clave de este programa es el de Normas de Aplicación de la ley manual de Agencias.  El actual 459 normas abordar nueve temas principales de la ley: (1) función, las responsabilidades y las relaciones con otros organismos, (2) organización, gestión y administración, (3) el personal de estructura; (4) personal de proceso; (5) Derecho las operaciones de control, (6) apoyo a las operaciones, (7) las operaciones de tráfico; (8) detenido y servicios relacionados con la cancha, y (9) servicios auxiliares técnicos. El Comunicaciones de Seguridad Pública Programa de Acreditación se ha desarrollado en 1999 por el de CALEA, con la participación y el apoyo técnico de la Asociación de Funcionarios de Seguridad Pública, Comunicaciones - International, Inc. (APCO Internacional). Este programa de acreditación permite a los centros de comunicaciones independientes o las unidades de comunicaciones dentro de otras organizaciones de seguridad pública como la policía, bomberos, EMS o agencias a participar voluntariamente en un programa de acreditación que promueve las comunicaciones de seguridad pública de servicios y reconoce la excelencia profesional. Los estándares del programa abarcará siete áreas temáticas: (1) la organización, (2) dirección y supervisión; (3) recursos humanos, (4) el reclutamiento, selección y promoción; (5) capacitación; (6) Operaciones, y (7) incidentes críticos, operaciones especiales, y la seguridad nacional. La Academia de Entrenamiento de Seguridad Pública Programa de Acreditación se desarrolló en 2002 para establecer las directrices en forma de normas que promuevan la capacitación en seguridad pública superior, desarrollar un proceso voluntario que permite a las academias para demostrar que cumplen las normas, y reconocer la excelencia profesional. Las normas del programa se derivaron de las mejores prácticas profesionales de agencias de seguridad pública e instituciones de formación, y no en conflicto con ningún nacional o estatal de Normas y Entrenamiento de Oficial de Policía (POST) las autoridades o de otras autoridades de capacitación. Los estándares del programa cubren nueve áreas temáticas: (1) la habilitación, (2) organización, (3) dirección y la autoridad; (4) recursos humanos, (5) reclutamiento, selección, empleo y promoción; (6) sistemas de instrucción; ( 7) la administración de la formación; (8) instructores, y (9) estudiantes. Alianza de CALEA lo largo de los años, un número de Estado y de los programas de acreditación de provincia (un programa de proveedores locales) se han iniciado. En julio de 2000, la Comisión aprobó un programa para establecer relaciones con el estado individual / acreditación provincial denominada Alianza CALEA. El programa de alianzas permite el uso de Reconocimiento de CALEA Normas y permite que miembros de agencias locales para buscar el reconocimiento de CALEA a través de la Alianza. Más información.

Agencia de CALEA Fondo de Apoyo (CASF) La Donación CASF fue creado en la Conferencia de Verano 2003 de CALEA con el propósito de otorgar asistencia financiera a las autoridades más pequeñas, la seguridad pública de comunicaciones, y los organismos públicos de formación de seguridad han solicitado su acreditación inicial, que de otro modo, no sería capaz de hacerlo.
