Your Commissioner — Curtis Holt

Curtis Holt is the city manager for Wyoming, Michigan, where he has served since 2000. He previously served as the Deputy City Manager for Wyoming starting in 1996, was the City Manager for the City of Otsego, Michigan, from 1989 – 1996 and was the Assistant City Manager in Cedar Springs, Michigan, from 1987 – 1989.

Commissioner Holt attended Grand Valley State University where he received both his Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in public administration. He was also a four-year letter winner as a member of the GVSU football team and a two-year letter winner as a member of the wrestling team and has been recognized by the Grand Valley State Alumni Association with its Alumni Service award.

Presently, he also serves as the Chairperson of the Kent County Dispatch Authority. He is also the Past-Chair of the Regional Geographical Information Service agency for the Grand Valley Metropolitan Council, as well as the Vice-Chair of the Grand Valley Regional Biosolids Authority. Commissioner Holt has also served as a board member for the Michigan Local Government Managers Association and is active in various other capacities with local non-profit agencies including the YMCA, the Greater Wyoming Community Resource Alliance, Wyoming Youth Initiative and others.

Commissioner Holt serves on the Corporate Affairs Committee, the Program Development and Enhancement Subcommittee of the Strategic Planning Committee, and Review Committee B.
