Certificates of Meritorious Accreditation Announced 

Sixteen agencies were recognized during the CALEA Conference Celebration Banquet in Reno, Nevada, for having been CALEA Accredited for 15 or more continuous years. These agencies receive an enhanced Certificate of Meritorious Accreditation, displaying a blue “Meritorious” ribbon and an inscription proclaiming their 15 or more years of accredited status.

The following agencies were recognized in Reno:

Athens-Clarke County (GA) Police Department
Covington (GA) Police Department
Indian Hill Rangers (OH) Police Department
Kettering (OH) Police Department
Lee County (FL) Sheriff’s Office
Manatee County (FL) Sheriff’s Office
Maryville (TN) Police Department
Prince William County (VA) Police Department
Rochester (NY) Police Department
Thomasville (GA) Police Department
University of Richmond (VA) Police Department
Waycross (GA) Police Department
Wheeling (IL) Police Department
Williamsburg (VA) Police Department
