Certificates of Meritorious Accreditation
Announced
Eleven law enforcement agencies were recognized during the
CALEA Conference Celebration Banquet in Austin, Texas for having been CALEA
Accredited for 15 or more continuous years. These agencies receive an
enhanced Certificate of Meritorious Accreditation, displaying a blue
“Meritorious” ribbon and an inscription proclaiming their 15 or more years of
accredited status.
The following agencies were recognized in Austin:
Birmingham (AL) Police Department
Coral Springs (FL) Police
Department
Delaware State Police
Garden Grove (CA) Police
Department
Greenville County (SC) Sheriff’s
Office
Hampton (VA) Police Division
Herndon (VA) Police Department
New Castle County (DE) Police
Department
Palatine (IL) Police Department
Skokie (IL) Police Department
Virginia State Police
Agencies receiving Certificates of Meritorious
Accreditation will be identified at every CALEA Conference.
