CACE Service Pak 1.0!
CALEA launched its first
update to the CALEA Accreditation Compliance Express (CACE) family of
software programs (CACE-L, CACE-C, CACE-T, and CACE-R). Service Pak 1.0
includes new features and also corrects some minor glitches. New
features include:
- a new section on Annual
Report;
- a task reminders
function;
- updated standards
manual (Change Notice 4.5 for CACE-L, Change Notice 1.1 for CACE-T, Change
Notice 1.2 for CACE-C, and Change Notice 1.2 for CACE-R);
- new flash screens for
CACE-C, CACE-T, and CACE-R;
- undo/redo functions for
text fields; and
- improvements to the
Hyperlink function.
The fixes:
- corrected hyperlink
text displays on ISSR Reports;
- updated the field
formats to allow commas on the Demographic Screen;
- revised the Table of
Contents, Glossary, and Go To tables for the CACE-C and CACE-T programs;
- corrected the bug
related to the size of the address fields on the Agency Information Screen;
- corrected glitch
related to saving information in the two data areas on the Standard
Information and Standard Text screens; and
- now the changes to the
agency name field on the Agency Information screen are immediately reflected
on all the screens and reports once the changes are saved to the database (no
longer need to exit the program for the changes to show up).
