CALEA staff has planned an assortment of quality training classes and workshops on topics of interest to all public safety agencies and personnel. The Austin Police Department and the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education are co-hosting this 25^th Anniversary Conference. A number of social activities have been planned, including the “Host Agency Event” on Thursday night with a “Taste of Texas” dinner, followed by a visit to the new Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum, which features intriguing artifacts, interactive exhibits, multi-media shows, and an IMAX Theatre. They will also be providing transportation to and from the Austin Bergstrom Airport (ABIA) and the Hilton Hotel for registered conference attendees.
