Scoring 100% on his assessor test in Portland, Oregon,
along with high evaluation marks from the fourteen agencies he has assessed, has
earned Team Leader D. Tom Anderson “Top Assessor” recognition. Tom Anderson has
been a Captain with the Anoka (MN) Police Department for the past four years.
In that capacity, he is the operational commander of his CALEA accredited
department of 29 officers and 15 civilian employees. He has been active in law
enforcement in Anoka County since 1970. Tom holds a Bachelor’s degree in
Criminal Justice Studies from St. Cloud State University, and an AAS degree in
Law Enforcement Technology from North Hennepin Community College, both in
Minnesota, and has received Emergency Manager certificates from both FEMA and
the state of Minnesota.
