Texas POST Accredited At the Jacksonville (FL), March 2002 Conference, The Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education (TCLEOSE) became the first state POST (Police Officer Standards and Education) to be accredited. TCLEOSE Executive Director Dr. D.C. Jim Dozier expressed strong support for the accreditation process. As the current President of the International Association of Directors of Law Enforcement Standards and Training (IADLEST), he affirmed his commitment to encourage greater participation in accreditation by POST state governing bodies.
