Commission Vice President, Retired Chief Stephen Monier, Goffstown (NH) was selected as the Chair/President.  Chief James O’Dell from Kettering (OH) is the new Vice President, Chief Patrick Oliver of Fairborn (OH) remains the Treasurer, and the new Commission Secretary is Commissioner James (Tim) Moore of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.  As past President, Chief William Miller of Elgin (IL) is also on the Executive Committee.

Commenting on his new assignment, Commission President Monier stated: “I am excited at the opportunity to serve the Commission as the newly elected Chair.  Every Commissioner brings a depth of experience, knowledge, and ability to the table that is very humbling.  Along with a very talented staff and an outstanding Executive Director, the Commission is a gifted and diverse group of professional men and women.  I am especially proud to have served as vice-chair under the leadership of Chief Bill Miller.  For three very successful years, Chief Miller worked diligently to enhance the cause, mission, and reach of CALEA – while pursuing excellence in the delivery of law enforcement service.  This is the essence of what CALEA is about, and I will do the very best I can to continue that legacy.”
