Florida Enters CALEA AllianceThe Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation officially entered the CALEA Alliance when Commissioners accepted the CALEA staff review report. Florida joins Washington and Oregon as states certified to administer CALEA’s Recognition Program for small law enforcement agencies in conjunction with state accreditation programs. The goal of the Alliance Program is to improve law enforcement by working with state and provincial credentialing commissions to provide uniform applications of professional standards.
