Thank You, Thank You!!
Once again with the November meeting comes the unhappy task of saying good-by to a Commissioner. This time we are doubly saddened as we bid farewell to Commissioner Henry DeGeneste (Senior VP and Director of Corporate Security at Prudential Securities) and Commissioner Keith Chadwell (Deputy County Manager, Fulton County, GA), both of whom became Commissioners in 1992. We will sorely miss the quiet reserve of Henry, who chaired CALEA’s Investment Committee and served as Treasurer from 1999-2000. In addition, the Saturday banquet will not be the same without the dulcet tones of Keith announcing the successful agencies. Keith served as the Chairperson for CALEA’s 20th Anniversary Program. Honor and distinction describe their Commission tenures and we offer grateful thanks for service and wish continued success to both.
