New to CALEA Staff Several new faces met attendees of CALEA’s last two Commission meetings. Reginald Newell was hired in February as CALEA’s Research/Planning Coordinator. He works closely with Executive Director Sylvester Daughtry, Jr., the SRIC Committee, and Strategic Planning Committee. The CALEA office made changes in its organizational structure. Three Program Assistants are assigned to work with six Program Managers to improve services to client agencies. New Program Assistant, Maya Daughtry assists Dennis Hyater and Steve Mitchell. Another new Program Assistant is Janice Dixon who works with Karen Shepard and Rich Meier. Veteran Peg Giglio helps Ted LeMay and Peg Gant. The new members of the CALEA team will be featured in future editions of the CALEA Update. Administrative Services Manager Tony Beatty provides CALEA’s administrative support with the aid of Linda Phillips, Wendi Jones, and Elaine Conner.
