Top Assessor- Robin Geis
Robin Geis, Chief of Dublin (OH) Division of Police
received the top score of 100% after taking the Assessor Refresher course in Atlanta. Rob,
an Ohio State University graduate, has been Dublin's Chief since 1996. He has been a CALEA
assessor and team leader since 1991. Recently he was part of the CALEA/State Accreditation
Task Force. Of the required training, Geis said, "It was straight forward." The
test validated the training that has been provided, as it contained material experienced
assessors should know.
Both new and veteran assessors must pass the written test as part of their
assessor certification. Recertification is required every three years and 112 tests were
given.
Missing only one question were Chief Richard Crouch of Gadsden (AL), Chief
Michael Dickey of Fairfield (OH), and Chief Leo McCann of Buffalo Grove (IL).
CALEA congratulates these top assessors.
