Assessor Retraining Required In 1993, Commissioners established a requirement that assessors receive periodic retaining. In October of 1997, a letter was sent to affected assessors to remind them of this requirement and associated time constraints. To be considered for on-sites in 2000 or later, assessors who have not attended CALEA assessor training or retraining since 1995, must take Assessor Refresher training at the July Montreal or November Atlanta CALEA meeting. However, completion of the retraining does not guarantee future on-site assignments.
