Steve has been a member of staff since May 1992, following his retirement from the City of Fairfax, Virginia Police Department with the rank of lieutenant. He is a graduate of the Penn State Police Executive Development Institute and the Virginia Forensic Science Academy. Steve was the first accreditation manager for his agency, guiding it through its initial award of accreditation. During CALEA conferences Steve teaches New Accreditation Manager Training and Reaccreditation Management. He also coordinates the Outreach Committee and Review Committee ”B.” Steve is a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, U.S. Army Security Agency Association, and the Fraternal Order of Police.
